VendorPoint™
can run in either a centralized or decentralized mode,
according to your organizational preferences. In centralized
mode, all information can be passed to one department
for entry and follow-up. This mode is appropriate for
smaller institutions with a small number of business units.
For those institutions with many business units, such
as holding companies, insurance companies, and large banks,
a de-centralized mode may be more appropriate. In this
mode, each business unit is responsible for entering and
managing the information concerning its vendors. The information
from all units is compiled for review, approval, and reporting
to the compliance officer, legal department, or executives. |
